12-August From Dorval airport to Baie-du-Febvre, small village along the Saint-Laurent River and Saint-Pierre Lake B&B "Carmen et Gustave" 450 783 6024. A lovely place !

Cruise to the Rocher Percé and Bonaventure Island where there's a big colony of Northern Gannet. The sea was very rough and we cannot go round the Island... We landed to the island to visit the Gannet colony.

18-August
Walk to the Anse-au-Griffon. We saw a Porcupine with a young and we made few good sights of birds. We have excellent recollections of this place...
Lunch to Cap-Bon-Ami.
Return to Percé for a cruise to see Whales. Unfortunatly it was cancel ! However, there's no whale because of the storm of yesterday...
Road to Saint-Anne-des-Monts by Gaspé, Murdochville, L'Anse-Pleureuse. In the evening we saw a black bear almost on the road.

19-August Walk to the Mont Jacque Cartier : the weather was very beautiful but the wind was very strong to the summit (as usually). We made some beautiful observations of the Woodland Caribou of this region: there's only 150 animals today (After a long decline, the population is stable for 5 years now). We also saw 2 American Golden Plovers to the summit! Hostel of the Mont Albert (Gaspesia Park)
20-August
Walk to the "lac des Américains"
Road to the "Lac Cascapédia". Lunch at the start of the Moose track. It's a lovely place but we have only fifteen minutes for a walk after the lunch. We must take the boat at Matane at the end of the afternoon. Just after our start, we saw a beautiful female of Moose.
Boat between Matane Baie-Comeau : we saw almost nothing until the harbour of Baie-Comeau where we observe a Piked Whale!

22-August
Cruise for the Whales. We were in the fog at the beginning (it rain all the night). A first stop where whales were present the previous day gave nothing. A little farther, we heard the breath of a whale at approximately 3km! It was a Blue Whale. We observed it several times all 10 or 15 minutes. We also saw a second one and some porpoises.
If you go near Tadoussac, dont miss this place (only 1h30 in car form Tadoussac). The cruise with "Le Grand Héron" and the B&B la Nichée are wonderfull !
Road and stop to Cap-de-Bon-Désir: we saw few White Whales, Piked Whales and porpoises. It's a nice place with good animations.

23-August Cap-Tourmente Park with Gérard Cyr. The biggest day of the trip for birds species because of big diversity of landscape. Moreover we saw a Black Bear, a nice Red Fox and a big Frogg green and yellow! B&B l'Oie des neiges Cap-Tourmente

Visit of the Gatineau Park with Réal Bisson : we saw a small migration of Warbler with 7 species in one group!
Small visit to the Outaouais River

28-August Visit of the Gatineau Park. We met a local birder who help us to identify a big diversity of Warbler. At the end of day we had seen 13 species of Warbler... Almost 60 species for this day. Ottawa
29-August Visit of the Gatineau Park and the Outaouais River. I tried to find the Purple Martin without success Ottawa
30-August Ottawa, Monréal, Boston, Paris France !

SUMMARY
